We start with a wood window sash milled to accept the copper cladding material, .030 thickness

The copper is shaped to fit the milled wood sash and the copper piece is bevel cut to make a clean corner...

The copper cladding is now "snapped in place" onto the wood.

Both pieces of copper are applied.

Copper cladding is a perfect fit when applied to the wood sash.

Solder is applied across the joint and the corner is polished out.
